How to connect Outlook to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste the remote server URL from the server page and sign in.
- For a local server, add it to Claude Desktop's config or run
claude mcp addin Claude Code.
Custom connectors work on Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Remote connectors connect from Anthropic's cloud, so the server must be publicly reachable.
Is it safe to connect Outlook to Claude?
Check the publisher and trust grade first. Official servers are published by Outlook itself; community servers come from third parties and can see whatever your account can. Every server page shows its live status, sign-in type and tool list.
