Atlassian runs the official MCP server for Jira, Confluence, Compass, Bitbucket and Loom.
- Endpoint:
https://mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp(current version; v1 connections move to v2 tools on March 1, 2027) - Sign-in: Atlassian OAuth 2.1 (an API token is optional). Calls respect your existing Confluence permissions.

How to add Confluence to Claude Code
- Remote server: run
claude mcp add --transport http <name> <url>. - Local server: run
claude mcp add <name> -- <command>with the install command from the server page. - Run
/mcpinside Claude Code to sign in.
