Not directly.ChatGPT connects only to remote MCP servers that use OAuth or no sign-in, and none of the 1 Auth0 servers we track qualifies right now; use a local server in Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code, or OpenAI's Secure MCP Tunnel. Checked on 2026-10-18.
How to connect Auth0 to ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode (Settings → Apps / Connectors → Advanced; on Business, Enterprise and Edu an admin enables it first).
- Add a custom MCP server and paste the server URL from the server page.
- Sign in when asked, then mention the app with @ in a chat.
Full read and write tools are available on Business, Enterprise and Edu. Pro users can connect MCP servers with read/fetch permissions only. ChatGPT supports remote servers (Streamable HTTP or SSE) and doesn't run local servers.
Is it safe to connect Auth0 to ChatGPT?
